Los Angeles International Airport
Motor through our speedy check in services at LAX’s Terminal 2.
When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress! As a rule of thumb:
- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.
Check in options
You can check in for your flight and pick up your boarding pass using any one of the following options.
Online check in
The best way to check in is online. You can pick your seat and print your boarding card. Just go to Manage your flights. If you're travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we'll see you at the gate.
Counter check in
To check in at the airport, head to Terminal 2's Upper Level where you'll find our friendly check in staff.
Check in desks open four hours prior to departure for all flights.
Ensure you leave plenty of time for the check in before your flight.
Not sure how much to bring for your flight, or want details on restrictions? Check our Baggage information pages for full details.
