15. Partner terms and conditions

Please refer to the individual partner pages for specific conditions relating to each partner.

15.1 Airline partners

15.1.1
Members seeking to earn mileage retrospectively can do so for up to six months after the date of travel. For example if you travelled with a Flying Club airline partner on 21st February 2012, you must send the original ticket and boarding pass into Flying Club for processing prior to 21st August 2012.

15.1.2 Flying Club airline partners will not accept postal delays or delays due to missing and/or incomplete information for claims made outside the six month claim period.

15.1.3 All reward flights are subject to the payment of applicable taxes, charges, fees and surcharges. The exact amount will be advised at the time of booking via your local Contact Centre.

15.1.4 All reward flights with airline partners are subject to availability. VAA will request the flights with the relevant partner airline and responses can occasionally take up to 48 hours. It is the member’s responsibility to check with VAA after 24 hours to see if the partner airlines flights have been confirmed.

15.1.5 Blackout dates may apply and certain routes may not be available, please check with Flying Club.

15.1.6 Redemptions are not available on codeshare flights and please note redemptions for unaccompanied minors are not available on codeshare or airline partner flights.

15.1.7 Specific rules relating to each partner airline are located on the relevant Partner Airlines page.

15.1.8 A minimum of 7 days notice is required to secure a reservation.

15.1.9 Date changes will incur a £25 change fee per person per change made and are subject to availability. VAA will re-request the flights with the relevant partner airline and responses can take up to 48 hours.

15.2 Hotel partners
15.2.1 Miles may only be earned for full, corporate or rack rates, please check with the hotel at the time of booking. Your Flying Club account details must match the invoice name. Only one credit of Miles is available per room per stay unless otherwise stated and Miles cannot be spilt between two or more members. Please call Flying Club for further details.

15.3 Local partners: earning and spending miles around the world

15.3.1
Rewards cannot be used in conjunction with any other special or promotional offer or discount and are non changeable and non refundable. Unless otherwise stated, all Rewards are per person and do not include transport, meals, accommodation, taxes or insurance. Other Terms & Conditions may apply and should be checked at the time of booking. Rewards are subject to availability and blackout dates may apply.
