When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress!

- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.

- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.

Check in options
You can check in for your flight and pick up your boarding pass using any one of the following options.

Online check in

The best way to check in is online. You can pick your seat and print your boarding card. Just go to Manage your flights. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

Counter check in

Counter check in

You’ll find our counters in the airport’s Departure Terminal.  Our friendly staff will send you on your way just as quickly as they can. Check in opens four hours before departure time.
