South Norwalk, CT (October 3, 2012) – This year marks the fourth season that Virgin Atlantic Airways will serve as the official partner for the NFL International Series game, and to celebrate have launched a virtual talent search to identify the ultimate fans of both the New England Patriots and the St Louis Rams. One lucky winner per team will serve as the airline’s Red Hot Reporter and cover the game live from Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, October 28.

Ahead of the big game, each team will fly on specially chartered flights to London with Virgin Atlantic enjoy customized menus tailored to fit the players’ diets, and the latest in-flight entertainment, including personal screens which feature media libraries with more than 300 hours of on-demand audio and video.

An ultimate fan from the Rams and the Patriots will become a Virgin Atlantic ‘Red Hot Reporter’ for the airline and win exclusive access on a trip to London for the big day. They will serve as the airline’s football ambassadors and attend practices with the teams and cheer squads, as well as press conferences and parties, chronicling their trip via social media. Come kickoff our reporters will have prime spots in the Virgin Atlantic suite at Wembley.

About the NFL International Series
On October 28, the New England Patriots and St Louis Rams will meet at London’s Wembley Stadium for the sixth annual International Series Game. Since 2007, the NFL has been playing sold-out regular-season games in the UK and has a commitment to play at least one game per year in London through 2016. The Jacksonville Jaguars recently committed to playing a home game at Wembley Stadium each year from 2013 to 2016.
