Experts demonstrate that UK aviation noise will not increase with near doubling of flights

23 April 2013: The UK aviation cross-industry association, Sustainable Aviation, launched the industry’s first Noise Road-Map today, demonstrating that noise from UK aviation will not increase with greater flights over the next 40 years. This can be achieved through the development and introduction of quieter aircraft alongside the implementation of better operating procedures and improved land-use planning.
