Heading down under? Australian visas are a must, no matter your reason for travel.

Whether you’ll be visiting for a few days or are planning a longer stay, you’ll need a visa for Australia. It’s simple enough to get one, though – you’ll be surfing on Bondi before you know it.

As a tourist you can get one of the following Australian visas online (as long as you’re from an eligible country):

  • Short Stay Tourist or Business ETA (Electronic Travel Authority):
    Valid for one year, for multiple journeys of up to three months.
  • Long Stay Business ETA:
    Valid for 10 years or the life of your passport (whichever is shorter), for multiple journeys of up to three months.
