Use our In Town check in service before you board the Airport Express Train to beat the queues at the airport.

When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress!  As a rule of thumb:

- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.

The best way to check in is online, where you can pick your seat and print your boarding card. Just go to Manage your flights. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

In Town Check in

For an experience that’s a little less hectic, opt to check in at the Airport Express Train stations. You can check in at both Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations up to 90 minutes before departure, between 06.00 and midnight.

You'll find a warm welcome waiting for you at our regular check in desks. You'll need to head to Area E for flights VS 200 and VS 201. 

Mobile check in

You can use our mobile site to check in wherever you are, anytime between 24 and 2 hours before your flight leaves.
