We have moved
On 28 August 2015 we moved terminals in Antigua; it is right next door to the new old one so the address is the same.
The shiny new terminal is a great improvement. You can check in and drop your bags in an air conditioned environment, and no more deplaning onto the tarmac on arrival. The aircraft now arrives on to the brand new stands attached to the terminal, so arrivals and departures are via jet bridges, a much cooler experience all round.
The building is fully operational but with limited retail and food outlets to start. The airport authority is still putting the final touches to our brand new partner lounge, which comes complete with a sun balcony and great views. It is due to open in the next couple of weeks.
When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress! As a rule of thumb:
- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.
Check in options
You can check in for your flight and pick up your boarding pass using any one of the following options.
Not sure how much to bring for your flight, or want details on restrictions? Check our Baggage information pages for full details.
Did you know?
It's best to walk through Immigration and Security once you have checked-in, particularly on Friday and Saturdays when there are multiple airline departures and the area can become congested.
