Whether you’re after an action-packed city break, romantic getaway, family fun or even a business trip, New York’s got something for everyone. Visit the iconic Empire State Building, or take a boat to the Statue of Liberty. Take a spin on the Coney Island Ferris wheels and catch a baseball game at Yankee Stadium.
Indulge in some retail therapy when you’re visiting New York and splash out at Macy’s or Bloomingdales. Not forgetting the night owls, who can take their pick from the city’s vibrant nightlife, from live music at Carnegie Hall to clubbing in the Meatpacking District.

Yankees sure do like their breakfasts, so grab a morning treat. Whether that’s eggs in the West Village, pancakes in NoHo or bagels in Brooklyn, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Enjoy the sights of Manhattan’s West Side from one of the city’s newest attractions, the High Line. A converted 1930s railway line, it’s bursting with food vendors, sculpture and green spaces.

There are hundreds of farmers markets, but perhaps the best known is the Union Square Greenmarket. Started in 1976, 140 regional farmers, fishermen, and bakers hold stalls in peak season.

No flight to New York would be complete without seeing Brooklyn Bridge. But for a different view, head to one of the many bars along the Hudson. The Beekman Beer Garden has a particularly spectacular terrace.

A hub of street art, quirky galleries and one-off boutiques, the East Village is a vibrant creative heart. It also boasts a wealth of fantastic restaurants and very lively nightlife.
