Every £1 you spend on the Virgin Atlantic American Express® Credit Card from MBNA and the Virgin Atlantic Visa Credit Card earns you Flying Club miles that you can redeem on a huge range of fabulous rewards.
Flying Club miles are not earned on any type of transaction (that includes cash substitute transactions such as non-sterling currency, casino and gambling type transactions), or finance charges, default charges, interest, payment protection insurance premiums, fees (that includes non-sterling transaction fees and card fees) or any other account activity, unless we specifically contact you with details of a special offer. We may withhold or withdraw Flying Club miles accrued or earned on card purchases made whilst your account balance is in credit. Cash advances, money transfers, and balances you transfer to MBNA Limited do not earn Flying Club miles.
There are two types of account to choose from: the Virgin Atlantic Black Credit Card Account (annual fee £140) and the Virgin Atlantic White Credit Card Account (no annual fee). Here’s a summary of the miles you could earn on each account.
Virgin Atlantic White Credit Card Account:

The number of Flying Club miles earned each month from credit card spend will be displayed on your monthly credit card statement, and will then be added to your Flying Club account within 30 days of the statement date. Please note, it is not possible to allocate Flying Club miles to your account before they have appeared on your statement. Where a refund is made on your card, your Flying Club miles total will be adjusted accordingly. Should you decide to cancel your Virgin Atlantic Credit Card Account before the production of your next statement, then any miles you have earned during the current statement period will be lost. Cardholders miles can be suspended or cancelled if you do not keep your account in good standing.
If you have not provided MBNA with a valid Flying Club membership number at the point your statement is generated, Virgin Atlantic will not be able to allocate Flying Club miles to your account. Please note the Flying Club membership number you give us must be for a Flying Club account in your name. If you have any additional cardholders on your card account, any Flying Club miles they earn by spending on their cards will also be credited to your Flying Club account. Your personal information will be processed by Virgin Money plc for the purpose of administering the Flying Club miles earned through your Virgin Atlantic Credit Card Account. Your card cannot be used within the Virgin Cardmembers Shop, and no cash alternative is available.
If you spend on your card and do not pay this in full each month, interest will be payable on the amount outstanding.
