• Passengers are advised of the need to pass through Customs and passport control and check in again with their baggage at the connecting airline's main check in desk instead of transit desks - even if luggage doesn't need to be checked in

• Passengers must make sure they have the correct documentation to arrive in the UK and leave plenty of time between flights
