The Virgin Atlantic Academy of Engineering Training (AET) is an EASA Part-147 approved training organisation, providing Basic License, Type and Specialised courses in Aircraft Maintenance and Safety & Equipment.
We serve Virgin Atlantic Airways and the wider aviation industry, including major and independent airlines, aircraft operators, maintenance companies, training companies requiring specialist support, and independent contractors.

We’re backed by the excellence of our own engineering-services record, including 20 years experience operating B747’s and more than 15 years experience operating A340’s.

Our training programme is structrued and designed to ensure that the apprentices gain a range of qualifications, which will include: a National Vocational Level 3 Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (1789-34), NVQ Level 3 Diploma On-Aircraft Maintanence (2675-04) and EASA Part 66 Category A, (and Category B1 or B2 modules, as required).
Entry onto a Virgin Atlantic Apprenticeship can only be gained by entry into Brooklands College, Weybridge, Surrey, through their generic selection process. You will complete one year of your course with Brooklands college, after which you may be selected to join the 3 year Virgin Atlantic Apprenticeship scheme.
