To help ensure that your flight with us is stress-free, relaxed, enjoyable and as safe as possible, you should review the following practical tips:
PLAN AHEAD:
Make sure that you obtain the required immunisations for the places you will be visiting and also appropriate prevention advice from your doctor.
Make sure that you consult with your doctor if you have any doubts about your fitness to travel.
WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR BOOKING:
If you are disabled or have special needs and require assistance either at the airport or onboard the flight, please call Special Assistance. If you are located outside the UK, please contact your local reservations office to let them know your requirements.
For disabled passengers departing, arriving or transferring at European airports requiring assistance, we strongly recommend that you give us at least 48 hours notice. Please read more about 'Passenger Assistance at the Airport', so that we can pass your details on to the airport Service Provider.
Contact Special Assistance if you have a pre-existing medical condition, so that they can make any necessary arrangements or give advice. Please refer to 'Medical Clearance to Fly' and 'Medical Conditions' for further information.
PACKING:
Please refer to Baggage Allowances to view your luggage allowance with Virgin Atlantic.
Your health and safety is of paramount importance to Virgin Atlantic, and we are committed to keeping you well informed.
TOP TIP
Virgin Atlantic strongly recommends passengers purchase suitable travel insurance to cover any costs incurred in event of illness, injury or accident overseas which could result in treatment, hospitalisation or repatriation, as this can be very expensive.
