SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
The Special Assistance Department, based at Virgin Atlantic in the UK, are here to help make arrangements for your journey if you have a disability or special need that you require assistance with, either at the airport or onboard the aircraft.
The team are here to give advice in making your journey a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for those who may find air travel difficult without extra help. We would like to know if you have a pre-existing medical condition or recent injury, so that we can answer any questions and ensure there are no concerns about your fitness to fly. The following sections are full of useful information and advice, but please do not hesitate to contact the Special Assistance team, if you cannot find the information you are looking for.

If you require assistance at the airport, you can contact our Special Assistance department or your travel agent. We recommend contacting us using the telephone numbers below or your travel agent at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled time of departure, in order to enable the airport Service Provider to plan appropriate resources.

OPENING HOURS: The UK Special Assistance department are open at the following times: - Monday to Friday from 09.00am - 19.00pm. - Saturday/Bank Holidays 09.00am - 17.00pm.
