MEDICAL FACILITIES ONBOARD
All our aircraft carry an extensive amount of first aid equipment including emergency medical kits, Automated External Defibrillators ("AED"), an onboard wheelchair and routine first aid equipment.
In addition, all our aircraft have been fitted with a diagnostic device called Tempus, that allows collection of vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse rate from an unwell passenger, which can be relayed for assessment by ground-based specialists. There is a limited supply of therapeutic oxygen onboard so please contact Special Assistance at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled departure date to discuss your requirements. Our cabin crew receive regular First Aid training and senior crew members receive additional training in the use of the onboard AED. If you wish to use your own medical equipment on-board, please see the following links for further information: - Carriage of Medication. - Carriage of Medical Equipment. |
