LIMO BOOKINGS

BOOK YOUR UPPER CLASS CLIENTS' CAR SERVICE THROUGH SABRE AND WORLDSPAN

HOW IT WORKS:

You can now book your Upper Class clients' complimentary chauffered car service through Sabre or Worldspan. Simply enter your limo pickup and drop off information in the format supplied below and QP your booking to Virgin as follows:

Worldspan: Queue: QEP/VS0/44*C8

To obtain the formats for booking the entries, Worldspan agents need to visit our DRS help pages in Worldspan via this entry: G/AIR/VS0/LIMO

We will book your car service and send you confirmation and vendor details within 24 hours. Confirmations will be queued back to your agency queues. Queue 1 for Sabre and queue 0 for Worldspan. The VS Limo Desk will send your confirmation via SSR message.

Key Information:

  1. Use Sabre or Worldspan only if you have 24 hours advance notice.
  2. Book limos only once you have ticket numbers in an OSI, an SSR or a deal code or tour code in an OSI in the booking.
  3. For limo bookings or changes to car bookings on the day of a flight, please call Virgin Atlantic at 800.862.8621.
  4. You can recommend a pickup time or we will provide one time from our car service/limo company.
  5. In the US and UK we need a complete street address, including zip/postal codes.
  6. Please provide a landline and an international mobile phone number for our drivers to get in touch with your customers.

Vital Information:

  • The directional indicators such as 'TO JFK', 'TO LHR', 'FR JFK' and 'FR LHR' are very important. They tell us which flight you want the car to or from, and should correspond to your customer's itinerary.
  • We know there are a lot of X’s, and you're helping us tremendously by putting them in!
  • If your client does not require car service, please use the format in example d), so we notate his/her record correctly.
  • Queue your booking to us as follows: Sabre:QP/VSV48/132, Worldspan: QEP/VS0/44*C8
  • Look for confirmation on your PPC queue number 1.
  • You will receive your confirmation via an SSR message.
Effective immediately, our US chauffeur car vendors will call passengers 10 minutes prior to pick up time to confirm the location they will be for collection.

By calling ahead of time, it will ensure that our passengers are collected promptly, from the correct location. This will hopefully reduce the need for our Upper Class passengers to call the Contact Center and chase cars.

This means it is essential that contact numbers for passengers are taken in full including any country dialing codes for international mobile numbers.

Remember to take into consideration that passengers being collected from hotels are more than likely to have checked out, so a hotel contact number will not be as effective as a mobile number.

By reconfirming contacts in the limo entries are correct, we will be maintaining our Upper Class passengers' customer experience which will ensure a smooth journey to our US airports.

To make or change a reservation for an Upper Class® limo, please call 1-800-862-8621 and select option 2 for travel agents, then option 2 again for Upper Class travel. Please note that Virgin Atlantic requires a minimum of 12 hours notice to change a limo booking.
