CHANGES TO CABIN BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES
Following new guidelines from the UK Department For Transport, as of January 7, 2008 our passengers will enjoy an increased cabin baggage allowance. This applies to all of our flights, excluding those departing from London Gatwick. The following cabin baggage allowances now apply in each cabin: Upper Class
Economy and Premium Economy
In addition to this, passengers may carry the following personal items onboard, outside of their cabin baggage:
Passengers departing from Gatwick are permitted to carry one item of cabin baggage each, of the same dimensions for each cabin listed above. Other bags, such as handbags, must be carried within the single item of cabin baggage, and the combined weight must not exceed 6kg for Economy and Premium Economy passengers, and 8kg for Upper Class passengers. It is our hope that Gatwick will revert to the same offering as the rest of our flights from March 31, 2008. For further details of these changes please visit the hand baggage allowance page.
Please note that restrictions still apply to the carriage of liquids in your customers’ hand baggage. In the meantime we hope that your customers find the increased allowance on all other flights useful when they next fly with us. |
