MOBILE WEBSITE
We have launched our new Mobile Internet Portal. The site is http://mobile.virginatlantic.com and you should access it from your phone browser. The new mobile services are open to any customer booked on a Virgin Atlantic Flight, whether booked directly on the web, via Virgin Holidays or via any corporate or trade partner. The new services cover:
Mobile check-in is available between 24 hours and 2 hours before departure and all flights world-wide are included. Once you have checked-in via your mobile and selected your seat you can collect your paper boarding pass at the airport from a self-service kiosk or bag-drop desk, or go to a PC and use online checkin to print out a boarding pass or request a fax copy in the normal way. Our mobile services will work on any modern, Internet-capable mobile device, including Blackberries, iPhones, Android phones, Nokia & Microsoft smartphones etc. Users will also have the option to go to our normal full site if they prefer this on their large screen mobile devices e.g. iPhones/iPads. To save you typing, if you have a UK registered mobile, you can also send a text message of M, MOB, or MOBILE (case insensitive) to shortcode 88787, which will cost you your normal text message tariff as charged by your phone provider. The system will respond with the mobile address as a text message which you can then click on and it will start up your phone browser. Visit our new mobile site |
