STEVE GRIFFITHS - CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Steve joined Virgin Atlantic in 1995, having worked as an apprentice and senior engineer for Rolls Royce. He became COO in March 2009 and oversees Engineering, Operations, Airports, Cabin Crew, Product and Cargo.

Steve was Director of Engineering between 2007 and 2009. He joined Virgin Atlantic's Propulsion Engineering team and has held the position of Propulsion Manager, Technical & Design Manager and General Manager - Continuing Airworthiness responsible for Fleet Engineering, Propulsion, Design, Reliability, Maintenance Planning, Airworthiness Records and Outsourced Maintenance.
