Change for Children is at the centre of a network of local and global social and environmental programmes and is one of the many ways we give something back to communities in our destinations. Each month Change for Children raises an average of £45,000.

For the next three years (2010 - 2012) our Change for Children appeal will be supporting Free The Children, who support long-term sustainable change in our destinations.

Disaster Relief Fund - Working with humanitarian organisations, we have supported several emergency relief missions.

Flight Assistance - Each year we will offer a small number of discounted flights to people who genuinely need our help.

Fulfilling Dreams - We have teamed up with the charity Dreams Come True (DCT), to help fulfill the dreams and wishes of terminally ill children.

Cargo - Our Cargo department will offer free of charge space onboard our aircraft for charitable shipments.

Employee 'Fun' Raising - Each year Virgin Atlantic staff will nominate a chairty to raise money for, through adventurous activities, such as the Alcatraz swim!

Putting People First - We have a number of volunteering projects that embrace and use all the services and people skills we have at our disposal.
