FLYING UPPER CLASS FOR THE FIRST TIME

Flying Upper Class with Virgin Atlantic is truly a magical experience. Here Virgin Atlantic employee Patrick describes his first Upper Class flight.

I remember the first time I flew Upper Class vividly. It was before I joined the Virgin Atlantic team. I was on a flight to Hong Kong, I’d not been before so I was especially looking forward to the trip because I’d heard so many wonderful things about the city. Then I walked into the clubhouse and quickly shelved my excitement about Hong Kong for later whilst I explored the space and tucked into some sushi!

Onboard was quite an experience as well, flying business class on other airlines can be quite a stuffy experience, not on Virgin Atlantic, the seats are amazing and the film choice excellent, and unexpected. As I recall I decided not to watch one of the latest release blockbusters and watched "Uncle Buck" instead. The Freedom Menu was a revelation as well, there’s nothing like a bacon roll for breakfast!

Now I’m part of the Virgin Atlantic team it’s great because I know that there are thousands of people getting that moment of revelation when they walk into the clubhouse or board one of our planes.
