WHAT WE FUND
At Virgin Atlantic, we do our best to support and aid communities in need globally. Below are a list of projects and initiatives we actively involved in, not just funding, but stretching ALL our resources - from emergency aid distribution to staff fundraising events.
CHANGE FOR CHILDREN
Change for Children - Our monthly onboard charity appeal, where each project raises an average of £30,000 - £40,000.
DISASTER RELIEF FUND
Disaster Relief Fund - Working with humanitarian organisations, we have supported several emergency relief missions.
FLIGHT ASSISTANCE
Flight Assistance - Each year we will offer a small number of discounted flights to people who genuinely need our help.
FULFILLING DREAMS
Fulfilling Dreams - We have teamed up with the charity Dreams Come True (DCT), to help fulfill the dreams and wishes of terminally ill children.
CARGO
Cargo - Our Cargo department will offer free of charge space onboard our aircraft for charitable shipments.
EMPLOYEE 'FUN' RAISING
Employee 'Fun' Raising - Each year Virgin Atlantic staff will nominate a chairty to raise money for, through adventurous activities, such as the Alcatraz swim!
PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST
Putting People First - We have a number of volunteering projects that embrace and use all the services and people skills we have at our disposal.
