THE HANGOVER

The Hangover

Truly this is the hangover from hell, as four guys get trashed on a Las Vegas stag night, then wake up to find that their hotel room has been wrecked, and the groom is missing. Cue raucous and very rude comedy as they try to locate their mate.


THE HURT LOCKER

The Hurt Locker

Director: Kathryn Bigelow

Bigelow's searing Iraq war drama has been heaped with praise and it's easy to see why. The nail-biting plot involves an elite army bomb squad involved in a game of cat and mouse, but what has really sent the critics into a spin is the movie's sense of realism and brutal intensity.


I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER

I Love You Beth Cooper

Director: Chris Columbus

This teen comedy begins with its hero, the nerdy Paul, declaring his feelings for Beth (Panettiere) in front of their entire school. His announcement sets in motion one wild and crazy night.




I LOVE YOU, MAN

I Love You Man

Wanting to get married, a real estate agent realises he has no mates to call upon for best man duty. When, after a series of 'man-dates', he finds one, he soon discovers his new best pal coming between him and his fiancée. Cue lots of hilarious, awkward (and possibly familiar) moments.

Family fun with Murphy starring as a workaholic who neglected his family in favour of his BlackBerry. When his career goes down the pan he discovers the answers to many of his problems lie in an imaginary world dreamt up by his daughter.

The International

This timely action-thriller stars Owen as a scruffy Interpol agent determined to track down an arms dealer and his colleague's murderer. He soon finds himself squaring up against one of the world's largest banks.


IS ANYBODY THERE?

Is Anybody There?

Caine stars as retired magician Clarence, the latest entrant to an old people's home run by the parents of 10-year-old-Edward. The two form an unlikely relationship in this funny-sad and ultimately uplifting comedy-drama.

Sci-fi thriller about the discovery of a code left in a time capsule in 1958 that seems to predict every major disaster of the last half-century - and there are three more still left to come.

Warning: Contains scenes of a plane crash which some viewers may find distressing.


LAND OF THE LOST

Land of the Lost

Ferrell stars as Dr Rick Marshall, who, along with his assistant and a redneck is sucked into a space-time vortex and finds himself in an alternate universe, which is full of prehistoric monsters and aliens.


LOOKING FOR ERIC

Looking for Eric

Director: Ken Loach

Ken Loach's latest is a comedy-drama about a postman contemplating suicide. During these moments he hallucinates visits from Eric Cantona, who plays himself, dispensing advice. Funny, powerful - and Cantona is a revelation.
