An edge-of-your seat psychotic thriller, both well made and deeply creepy.

Info: Williams is in excited-puppy mode for this schmaltzy family caper that follows the Munro family on a road trip to the Colorado Rockies. Having traded in his Hawaiian holiday for a flashy camper van, Bob and the gang start out on a disaster-ridden journey that he must make in order to save his job.
Verdict: Cheesy though it may be, this remains a well-written comedy, albeit packed full of compulsory (and countless) toilet jokes.

THE OMEN

A shot-by-shot remake of the original 1976 horror classic, this ominous tale focuses on an American official who realizes his young son may be the devil incarnate. Fans of the original will miss the choral music that made the first one so frightening, but a few new scares and some good performances from Farrow and Postlethwaite - and one scary kid - make this a well-crafted gore fest.

Verdict: An offbeat and intriguing indie movie.

Verdict: Focusing on these four characters, and offering an astutely accurate observation on friendship, this is a believable and realistic comedy.
