SPICE GIRLS NAME VIRGIN ATLANTIC PLANE 'SPICE ONE'

The Spice Girls have named a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 "Spice One" in their honour on the 12th December 2007 at Los Angeles International Airport.

33,000 Spice Girls fans helped choose the winning name from a short-list of three. "Spice One" was the run away winner getting 56% of the vote ahead of "Girl Power" and "Spice Girl". One lucky fan won the competition to fly to Los Angeles to meet the Spice Girls.

SPICE GIRLS OPEN VIRGIN ATLANTIC'S NEW TERMINAL AT HEATHROW

The Spice Girls opened Virgin Atlantic's futuristic new terminal facility at London Heathrow airport 13th December 2007 after arriving from Los Angeles on the plane named "Spice One" in their honour.

Virgin Atlantic's new terminal facility at Heathrow will offer over 60,000 passengers a week a quick, easy and efficient check in procedure. Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers now have a separate check in wing with it's own dedicated security channel allowing them to glide from their limo to the lounge in under ten minutes.
