Additional information for passengers on through tickets with connecting flights in another airport

Remember if you are transferring to another flight you must check the cabin baggage restrictions at the transfer airport, they may be more restrictive than those at your originating airport. If your cabin baggage does not comply with the rules it will have to go into the aircraft hold which means you will have to clear customs and check in again.

Passengers with onward connections from the UK who have through-checked their baggage should bear in mind that any unconsumed liquids/gels purchased after they have passed through the central security checkpoint cannot be carried in cabin baggage from any UK airport.

CURRENT SECURITY MEASURES - LIQUID RESTRICTIONS

Read the latest security information regarding liquid restrictions for the airports you will be travelling through before you travel to the airport.

CARRIAGE OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

Passengers carrying one musical instrument in its case, which is too large to fit within the cabin baggage allowance, can carry it through the airport security checkpoint, in addition to the above allowance. However, please note that storage space is very restricted onboard and the carriage of additional items may be declined at check in without notice. Please contact us in advance, if you have any questions or if you plan to carry a large musical instrument.
