MAKING A CLAIM FOR LOST OR DAMAGED BAGS![]()
If your bag hasn’t been found after 21 days, we consider the bag to be 'irretrievably lost' and our Central Baggage Claims Department will process your claim.
If your bag or it's contents have been significantly damaged while in our care and the damage has been reported to our baggage services agents at the airport, they will assess the damage and endeavour to settle your claim immediately. In the event settlement cannot be reached a claim must be made directly to our Central Baggage Claims Department. Baggage claims can only be accepted in writing. This form must be printed out, completed in full and returned to our Central Baggage Claims Department at the addresses listed. If you don't have this simply click here to download a free copy If you are having difficulty accessing the claim form PDF please e-mail your full name and address to baggage.services@fly.virgin.com who will send a form to you. US residents are asked to return claim forms to our US address from where it will be forwarded to the Central Baggage Claims Department. All other passengers are required to send them to the UK with all supporting paperwork e.g. receipts, proof of purchase, repair estimates.
