A Virgin Atlantic does not permit name changes on any ticket purchased Q Can I change the date on my ticket? A This depends on the type of ticket you have purchased and the rules associated with it. Generally speaking, non-flexibles tickets do not allow date changes. Semi- flexible tickets may allow a date change upon payment of a change fee and fully flexible tickets can be changed for a change fee. You should contact your travel agent or our contact centre for specific information before the original travel date. Q Does Virgin Atlantic offer a Senior Citizen discount? A We no longer offer a Senior Citizen discount. Q Do you offer student fares? A Virgin Atlantic does not sell student fares. We advise you to contact your local Student Travel Agency for further assistance. Q Where do I find current flight availability? Can I book a ticket online for someone else if I am not travelling? A. It is possible to buy a ticket online when the credit card holder will not be travelling to most of our destinations from the UK and US provided there is a minimum of 7 days before departure. Paper tickets must then be mailed to the billing address of the credit card holder to ensure security. Passengers travelling from Dubai, Lagos or the Caribbean or to Lagos, Kingston or Montego Bay may also fly without the credit card holder, provided there is a minimum of 5 days prior to departure. Please note: You currently cannot book a ticket online for someone else when doing a Flying Club milesplusmoney booking. Please contact us to make a third party milesplusmoney booking. Q. Q. Is there a fee if I request a traditional paper ticket? A You will incur a charge if you wish to have a traditional paper ticket in preference to an E-Ticket on routes where an E-Ticket could be used. This applies for initial ticketing and exchanges as well as when requests are made for the conversion of an E-Ticket to a traditional paper ticket. Please be aware these charges are non-refundable. As charges vary according to where the ticket is issued, please contact us for further information. Q. Can I book a Virgin Atlantic flight online in another language? A Yes, we have both traditional chinese and simplified chinese sites. Q. Can I book a flight using my Miles Plus Money? A Yes, just select the Mile Plus Money option in our booking engine and it will inform you how many miles you need to book that particular flight. Q. How do I find the cheapest fare?
