ARMED FORCES LEAVERS

If you’re leaving the Armed Forces with no civil aviation qualifications, there is a lot of training on offer at Virgin Atlantic’s technical training school. A minimum requirement will be human factors training before you are allowed to work as a technician.

To certify civil aircraft you need basic licences at category A, B1 or B2 and aircraft type-specific training, and aviation legislation.

Information regarding modules, courses, dates and fees offered, courses available in 2009 and the Technical Training Programme 2009 can be accessed here.

We’ve got a list of some local accommodation to make things even easier for you!

APPRENTICESHIP

Apprentices
With an award-winning EASA approved B1/B2 four year apprenticeship scheme, we turn out highly competent technicians with great career prospects. It's possible we will have spaces available on our theory modules for your apprentices too, so if you'd like them to have excellent teaching as well, please get in touch.
