FREE THE CHILDREN

Virgin Atlantic is really excited to have entered into a partnership with the charity Free The Children, which supports our goals of long-term sustainable change in the destinations we fly to.

In 1995, 12-year-old Craig Kielburger read about child labour in developing countries and was so moved he decided to take action by setting up Free The Children. Today this extraordinary organisation involves more than a million young people in its innovative education and development programmes across 45 countries.

The primary goals of the organisation are to free children from poverty and exploitation and to free young people from the notion that they’re powerless to affect positive change in the world. Through empowerment programmes and leadership training, Free The Children inspires young people to develop as socially conscious global citizens and become agents of change for their peers around the world. DONATE MILES

Members are able to transfer miles into the Free The Children account at anytime. The miles in the Free The Children account will then be used to fly volunteers to destinations where Virgin Atlantic operates.

Members globally may transfer a minimum of 1000 miles.

Free The Children miles never expire - they are valid for life.
