Q What information do I need to retrieve my booking?
A
Passengers with ticketed bookings must input their surname (as it appears on their ticket), flight number, date of flight, and either their booking reference number or e-ticket number.
Please note: If your booking contains more than four flights you will not be able to retrieve your booking online..
Please contact us to update your booking
Q Why can’t I see my meal preference?
A
Meal preferences are deemed sensitive personal data so whilst we can confirm whether you’ve previously made a meal choice or not, we cannot reveal this information for bookings with multiple passengers.

Q My booking cannot be located. What do I do?
A
There are several reasons why your flight booking may not be retrieved. Please ensure your details are correct, or contact us for more information.

Q Why can't I edit my meal preference?
A
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to order special meal requests. If your flight departs within 48 hours, we cannot accept any special meal requests.

Q Why can't I see all of my flights?
A
We are only able to show confirmed Virgin Atlantic flights which have been ticketed. Other airline segments, waitlisted or unconfirmed flights, or bookings which have not been ticketed will not be shown.

Q Why can't I change my seat?
A
When you have a confirmed ticket, you can update your booking up to 24 hours before the flight is due to depart. To change your assigned seat to something you would prefer mayye an aisle or window seat, please go to the Update your booking section.

Q Why can't I add/amend my frequent flyer number?
A
If you are booked on a non-mileage earning flight (eg milesplusmoney or a redemption booking) or are a child or infant passenger, we do not allow you to add your frequent flyer number.

QWhat is a booking reference number?
A
This is also known as Record Locator (or recloc), PNR Code, confirmation number or reference number. It can be found on your tickets, confirmation or travel documentation.

Virgin Atlantic's booking reference is a six digit alphanumeric combination. Tickets issued by Virgin Atlantic will contain this code in the PNR Code box near the centre of the ticket. E-tickets issued by Virgin Atlantic list this as 'Booking Reference'.

We also accept booking reference number issued by most travel agents. These appear as a six digit alphanumeric combination usually listed in your travel documentation, or available from your travel agent upon request.

If you have purchased directly from Virgin Holidays, the reference is a five or six digit number, followed by a '/' and a three digit alphanumeric combination, e.g. 12345/S05 or 654321/W05. This can be found at the top of your holiday invoice.
