PREMIUM ECONOMY

In May 1992 Virgin Atlantic was the first airline to offer a Super Economy service. Since then it has gone from strength to strength, offering passengers more legroom, more seat space, more of our excellent customer service for only a little more on the price of the ticket.

John Johnson, a Premium Economy customer stated,

"I have to say that Virgin Atlantic has ruined my whole flying experience. Having sampled Premium Economy for the first time in 2008 how can I ever go back to Economy."

Flying Premium Economy with Virgin Atlantic is all about the little touches, whether it’s the pre-flight drink, the fact your meal is served on china, the 38 inch seat pitch or the priority disembarkation and baggage reclaim.

Our Premium Economy cabin has proved so popular with passengers that many other airlines have started to offer a similar service; didn’t someone once say that imitation is the highest form of flattery?
