EARNING FLYING CO MILES
In order to ensure that your travellers earn Flying Co miles for the company and Flying Club miles for their personal account, the Flying Club membership number of each traveller will need to be quoted at the time of booking. Please note, the individual's Flying Club membership number must always be quoted at check in too and they will need to activate their Flying Club account online in order to redeem their Flying Club miles. Q Can our company travellers receive Flying Co miles for flights prior to the company's enrolment in the Flying Co programme? A No, Flying Co miles can only be earned once the company has enrolled in the programme and for subsequent flights thereafter. Q Are Flying Co miles awarded for travel in all booking classes? A No, only certain booking classes qualify, please see the table below for details.
Please check at time of booking that you are purchasing a ticket in a qualifying booking class. If you are booking via Virgin Atlantic's website, the booking class will be shown in Step 5 of the booking process. Q Are Flying Co miles awarded for travel on Virgin Atlantic's codeshare or partner flights? A No, Flying Co miles are only awarded on flights with Virgin Atlantic. However, Flying Co miles can be redeemed for flights with Virgin Atlantic and bmi. There are a host of other rewards that Flying Co miles can be redeemed for too, including upgrades and hotel stays.
