This one-off publication, and an airline first, is created and published by ‘We Are What We Do’, the global social movement behind the ‘Change the World’ book series. These books are full of practical actions that we can all take to make the world a better place to live in.
This book, onboard from February 2008 is aimed at inspiring our passengers to make small changes and gives them 10 simple actions that can help them play a part in changing the world, even at an altitude of 35,000ft.
Getting involved and taking action in this ‘mile-high green club’ is not about getting fruity with your favourite horticulturist, but instead it’s about giving travellers options in their everyday life and travelling habits, such as packing less to reduce their carbon footprint.
The book has been fully funded by and in partnership with equally-minded brands such as Nokia, Puma, Shell Foundation, Dermalogica and Honda, who have brought their own actions to the publication in the form of fun and thought provoking, interactive advertisements.
As you’d expect, this publication is also a completely green product, being 100% re-cycled, chlorine free and can be disposed of by recycling or is biodegradable. The book will also be offset through our Gold Standard carbon offset scheme. Sounds Eco-licious!
