Set the tone for a relaxing trip with our check in services at Narita International’s Terminal 1. If you’re transferring from another flight you’ll find our transfer desk at W1.

When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress!  As a rule of thumb:

- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.

Check in options
You can check in for your flight and pick up your boarding pass using any one of the following options.

Online check in

Online Check in

The best way to check in is online. You can pick your seat and print your boarding card. Just go to Manage your flights. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

Mobile check in

Mobile check in

You can use our mobile site to check in wherever you are, anytime between 24 and 2 hours before your flight leaves.

Counter check in

Counter check in

You’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you at our regular check in desks. You need to head to C Island on the 4th Floor, where we’ll get you on your way in no time. Check in is open from 08.30.
