Roman Polanski: A Film Memoir
Laurent Bouzereau’s illuminating documentary presents the most in-depth interview ever with the legendary film director. Using footage from his films, archive and library material – but most of all, one-on-one sessions with Polanski himself – it gives the man behind Rosemary’s Baby and Chinatown the chance to tell his story in his own words. In perhaps the film’s best section Polanski goes into great depth about his childhood, during which his family tried to flee the Nazis and he lost his mother to the gas chambers of Auschwitz. He also talks about the brutal murder of his wife Sharon Tate, the rape charge that eventually led him to flee to Europe, his later life, and eventually, his arrest in Switzerland. A fascinating document of a fascinating man.

This is very, very funny indeed.

Make no mistake, this is Coogan at his very best.

It revolves around a chemistry teacher, who has a handicapped child and pregnant wife.
