As most of our flights from the Caribbean leave in the evening, we offer a check in and chill out service – leaving you longer to loll on your lounger.

When to arrive for your flight
We recommend you get to the airport with plenty of time to spare – it’s a good way to avoid last-minute stress! As a rule of thumb:

- Virgin Atlantic flights: arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.
- Partner airline flights: we recommend you check in three hours before your scheduled departure.

Check in options
You can check in for your flight and pick up your boarding pass using any one of the following options.

Counter check in

You’ll find our regular counter check in service on the ground floor of Terminal 1. Our friendly staff will send you on your way with a smile just as quickly as they can.

Online check in

The best way to check in is online. You can pick your seat and print your boarding card.
Just go to Manage your flights.
If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

Mobile check in

You can use our mobile site to check in wherever you are, anytime between 24 and 2 hours before your flight leaves.

Check in and chill out

Check In Chill Out service operated in Barbados has become a product exclusive to Virgin Holidays. Non-Virgin Holidays customers will be unable to participate in this service. This service will continue exclusively for Virgin Holiday passengers only in Barbados. This service is still available for Virgin Atlantic passenger’s aswell as Virgin Holidays passengers in Antigua, St Lucia and Tobago.

No camouflage!
Camouflage material is against the law in Barbados, as it's reserved only for the Barbados defense force.To avoid sticky situations at the airport and during your trip save the military look for home, be it clothing, bags or even swimwear.
