Virgin Atlantic announces director of service delivery

Virgin Atlantic, one of the world’s leading airlines, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Walker, Director of Service Delivery. Andrew joined the airline on 06 January 2014.
Andrews brings with him a wealth of customer services experience and knowledge, most recently as a result of his role as UK Managing Director at Pret A Manger
Craig Kreeger, Chief Executive Officer for Virgin Atlantic, welcomed Andrew’s appointment:

Andrew Walker commented on his new role:
“I am really looking forward to my new role. The airline industry has always fascinated me and it is clearly a much more complex business which I am really looking forward to getting my teeth into.”
Andrew spent 12 years at Pret A Manger, with his most recent role there being UK Managing Director. During his time at Pret, he was behind a number of innovative service and product initiatives leading to significantly enhanced customer experiences, as well as improved revenue and margins. Before joining Pret, Andrew was with professional services firm Deloitte Touche, where he held a number of senior IT roles.
In his new role at Virgin Atlantic, Andrew will report into Craig Kreeger, Chief Executive Officer.
