We’re proud to show you our new-look website – but this is just the start.

Welcome to the new us! We thought it’s about time we spruced things up a little round here – and as of today, you can gaze upon the first fruits of our redesign.

So, what’s new?

Passbook Support:

We're the first UK based airline, to make boarding cards available through Apple's* Passbook, streamlining the straight-to-seat experience via your iPhone or iPod touch.

Check-in online and have the option to send your boarding pass directly to your device, giving you a smoother airport experience, allowing you to by-pass the check-in kiosks and head straight to security, or via the bag drop if you're carrying luggage.

Your Virgin Atlantic Passbook boarding pass will be scanned as normal, giving you an enhanced paperless experience.  Next stop, duty free!

All flights** departing the UK, which offer our traditional mobile boarding pass, will also offer the new Passbook service.

*Compatible on iPhones and iPod Touches, which have been upgraded to iOS 6.
** Excludes VS200 Heathrow to Hong Kong and Sydney.

Flight Search:

Our new flight search brings a fresh approach to booking your flight. Returned results now feature the next cabin up, this allows users to easily see what flights are available. The additon of a shopping basket allows the user to keep track of the flights they have selected, changes can easily be made.

Using the new date selector at the top of the results you can see the lowest fare available +/- 3 days.

The experience throughout the Flight Search from homepage to results caters for those who know exactly what they want and those who are more open to suggestion, facilitating an efficient, but inspiring journey.

Our new customer service pages make it really easy to find the answer to any queries you might have. Split into clear topics you’ll find useful information on latest news, lost or damaged luggage, reservations, refunds, Flying Club and lots more.

New homepage:

The first page you see, shows you what we're all about.  We love the destinations we fly to, so we've made them the star of the show with large, luscious images that capture their essence.

We’ve also made it easier for you to find the flights you want with a simple, clear search box. And we hope you’ll find it much easier to find whatever you’re looking for with the new navigation at the top of the page.

Clear, helpful travel information:

The other big change is our overhauled travel information section, which lets you find out all you need to know about your trip with a minimum of fuss. You’ll find each of the following sections have been treated to a fresh new design:
